  • David Rolf II DMD, MS is Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Professor of Periodontics at Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine, where he oversees curriculum, student professionalism, academic performance and success, outcomes assessment and accreditation activities. Dr. Rolf collaborated in leading the integration of HoloAnatomy® into the School of Dental Medicine’s curriculum. His broad range of experience includes private practice, co-founder of Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine-Arizona, PI of grant-supported dental implant research, serving on the dental faculty of Loma Linda University and Indiana University, serving as an industry consultant and consultant to the Commission on Dental Accreditation. Dr. Rolf is a graduate of Indiana University, Washington University in St. Louis and The University of Iowa and is a Fellow in The American College of Dentists, a Fellow of the American Dental Education Association Leadership Institute and a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.

  • Jill Kawalec, Ph.D., is Professor and Division Head of Preclinical Sciences at the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine (KSUCPM), where she is also the Director of Research. Jill earned her BS in bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and her M.S. and Ph.D. in biomedical engineering with a specialization in orthopaedic biomaterials from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland.

  • Dr. Charlotte Russell is a Teaching Professor who joined the Faculty of Simmons University in 2006 and was promoted to the Professor rank in 2022. She received her Bachelor of Medical Science from the University of Birmingham in England with honors in Cellular and Molecular Pathology in 1999, and her Ph.D. in Molecular Medicine from the University of Manchester (England) in 2002. She completed her post-doctoral Research Fellowship at Kings College London in the Department of Cardiovascular Biology before immigrating to the US in 2005.

Susanne Wish-Baratz, PhD, MBA

  • Dr. Susanne Wish-Baratz is a Professor of Anatomy at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, where she directs the medical anatomy course. Dr. Wish-Baratz was a key expert in the development of HoloAnatomy®, Case Western’s pioneering mixed reality application for medical education. A leading voice in technology innovation in anatomy education, she also co-founded Anatomy Camp, an outreach program for underrepresented students, and has received numerous teaching awards, including the Faculty Innovator Award (2022).

  • Christine Parker is a Professor in the Department of Science & Technology at Finger Lakes Community College in Canandaigua, NY. She has more than 13 years of experience in classroom instruction and other academic roles, including institutional governance, curriculum design, and assessment.

  • Jason E. Wells, Ph.D., is the Associate Dean for Biomedical Affairs at the Duquesne University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Before joining Duquesne, he held multiple leadership positions at the Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine (LUCOM) from 2013–2021. While at LUCOM, he also served as vice-chair of Anatomical Sciences, where he spent a year helping shape the curriculum and culture before the college welcomed its first class in 2014. He was then appointed as pre-clerkship curriculum director in 2015.

  • Stuart D. Flynn, M.D., is the founding dean of Fort Worth’s new M.D. school, the Burnett School of Medicine at TCU. The school recently graduated its first class and received full accreditation from the LCME.
