Physician assistant students get immersive experience with the human heart
The Post Tribune (Chicago Tribune) highlighted how Valparaiso University’s Physician Assistant program is using HoloAnatomy® from AlensiaXR to bring human anatomy to life through immersive 3D anatomy software.
Instructors and students demonstrated how extended reality enables learners to visualize and interact with 3D organ systems, even stepping inside a beating heart during Valparaiso’s public showcase. Faculty members noted how the technology enhances clarity, engagement, and long-term understanding across the curriculum.
“You can not see nerves very well in a cadaver, except for the sciatic. But with HoloAnatomy Neuro .NEXT, the nervous system was clearly displayed in yellow.”
